Aglione’s Valdichiana sauce
Podere Micheli’s Aglione della Valdichiana sauce is an integral part of the gastronomic tradition of the Tuscan territory. Aglione is a variety of garlic that comes from Val di Chiana, in southern Tuscany; the difference compared to common garlic is notable, first of all for the size and then for the weight, which can even reach 800 g; furthermore, another big difference with classic garlic is its very delicate flavour: its peculiarity is that it completely replaces it, when used, in recipes: it is delicate, easily digestible, and does not leave the typical aftertaste and breath of the garlic.
