Homemade Almond Cantuccini 250 gr
From the ancient Tuscan confectionery tradition, Podere Micheli’s almond cantuccini (also known as “Prato biscuits”) are one of the products that distinguish Tuscan cuisine: in 1500 the cantucci were brought to the table at the court of Caterina de’ Medici.
They are obtained by cutting the loaf of dough into strips while it is still hot.

They are dry and crunchy biscuits, crumbly and light; they can be tasted alone or accompanied primarily by Vinsanto, but also by liqueurs, fortified wines, tea or even with hot chocolate. Finally, we suggest enjoying them for breakfast too, simply with a glass of milk!
